so i'm selling off my Lancer because my wife needs a nicer car and she can't drive a stick. we're getting rid of my Abigail and buying her a camry. since she would have the nice and reliable car for trips and whatever, all i need is something that runs and will get me to school and work (20 miles round trip). a little back story, i'm a farm boy who grew up with rusted out, smokey work trucks and i miss them so much. so we budget away 3 grand for me to go get something that will run (only requirement). she won't ever have to drive it or even sit in it. today i found what i was looking for (pictures attached) and she throws a fit.

c'mon! 4wd, leather seats, ac, no leaks, no smoke, only superficial rust and half the price i was willing to spend! not to mention the classy wood accent (a Mercedes has wood accents, albeit on the inside). you can't possibly tell me that this thing isn't full of win! i'm driving it tomorrow and having my mechanic run through it for any huge timebombs but i'm cautiously optimistic, the seller seems to be alright and has been straight forward about any issues.

ok, tell me what you guys think of this thing. how can she not see how awesomely awesome this beast is!

Looks nice. I don't see anything wrong with it. No rust that I can see, good interior. What about the engine..how's that look?

Edit: maybe she's not after it for the cool factor, as a chick car? lol Idk. I understand it's not her car.

Not bad. What's the tin can on the far right covering though? It's on it's side.

Go take a look at the car, and ask him to go with you to a mechanic, of your choice, to get an honest report on the condition of the car (or go by yourself and leave collateral). If it is all clear, then buy it!

That's a good lookin Wagoneer! Whoever owned it sure took decent care of it. I say if it passes the mechanics check go for it. Your not gonna find another one like that for awhile.

"mileage" is a bit optimistic.... i'm guessing around 10 but burning a few dinosaurs is worth looking freaking sweet, right? seriously though this is a one in a million find
