i'm with jwin on this one, brenda = yuck. i can see how it is relevant, i just can't see myself calling her "brenda". i've had a long line of ladies in my life, they are as follows:

    92 ford explorer - Veronica
02 chevy silverado - Rosanna aka the new Mexi truck
    honda sabre- Madeline
    83 buick riviera - Camille
    84 dodge mirada - Agnes
96 chrysler new yorker - Rebecca
96 geo tracker - "i wish you would die" aka the P.O.S

4.0, inline 6, AW4 tranny, and hopefully the better rear end in it and it will run forever.

Is the rear end's center section rounded or angular?

Now all the non jeepophiles will be wondering what in the heck I am talking about non-brenda's rear end and how round it is. LOL

I see she , whoever she is, has gold lowers on it. I'm going to sell my bigger BFG's on gold ravine jeep aluminum wheels soon. That would look PIMP.

They are actually from the 06 Golden eagle special edition wrangler

the rear end is squared off, if that's what you mean. i believe its the Dana 44. i think this was the last year for the aisin-warner. they were toyota right?

as for those rims, i need to get a a hold of you later on about the lift/tires. it's got some 28in on there but i'm wondering how big i could go with that rusty's lift. we'll have to sort something out...

No, there was no D44 on the XJ's, but the one you have IIRC is the better of the 2 that were available. The roundish dana35 like I have on the back of my ZJ grand cherokee is a steaming pile of an axle. You don't have that d35, so you are good to go.

The AW4 (Aisin Warner aka Yota tranny)was in all the 4.0 XJ cherokees, up until 2001 or whenever they quit making the regular cherokee. It was either 01 or 02.

The tires I have on my golden eagle ravine wheels are BFG all terrain 235 75 15s, so not that big, and you might be able to run them with no lift, but a BB lift will definitely clear them.
