needs some ideas on getting water crystal clear

    I agree with Blade Runner. I use a HOT Magnum with the Paper Micron filter to polish my water after tank cleaning and in 2 -3 hours the water is crystal clear. Do you use activated charcoal? AC will help remove any coloring of the water but not fine particulates.

    get a better skimmer and try some purigen-it makes the water sparkle! Someone said you system was new-how old is it?

    A good skimmer, A magnum 250 with micron filter & a UV Sterilizer should help. Like Raven said carbon helps alot too.
