Hello,
Have had aquariums off an on for my 76 years. Started as a kid with a 20 gal tropical community tank. This was back in the day when "the best water to use" was seasoned water that is, it's been around a long time. The only thing we paid attention to was temp, did not test for nitrates etc. Tank was planted Vals and Swords they did very well with incandescent lighting and sunlight. My last tank was a 50 gal reef tank, live rock, corals and fish, pretty good just got to be too much work for an old duffer like me.
I'm looking to start a 15 gal tank, planted Vals and Swords with neons, white clouds pair of guppies and a cory cat. Any tips are welcome.
