if i were as worried as you this is what i would do. Get a bucket or somthing you can put a few gallons of water to serve as a temporary tank. Mix some fresh saltwater and put a powerhead into the container. I know freshly mixed saltwater can be toxic if it's not completly mixed when you put the fish in so you would need to let the salt mix with a good powerhead or somthing to keep it moving for atleast an hour. Then aclimate the fish like you would if you just received livestock by mail. Use a ziplock bag, a big glass or some kind of container. Using 8 ounces of water from the tank in a glass with the fish, add one once of water from the fresh mix every 10 minutes (i use a shot glass) until the water in the glass with the fish is all new water, then put the fish in the temporary tank.

    nemo died.

It's late at night and it was impossible for me to get the detoxifier.

I will wait for a couple of weeks and wait until the water is perfect before start getting more fish.

    snails and crabs

I do not feed my snails and crabs but some people put a small sheet of dried seeweed on a clip. If you have alge the inverts should be eating that as well as detritus from fish wast and food particles. Snails and crabs are the clean up crew. If there is somthing to clean up they do not need feeding to the best of my knowledge.

honestly IMHO an 8 gallon biocube cannot support two clowns. Maybe one, but two is really pushing it.

Inverts do need calcium and iodine but test before you add anything to your tank. If you can't test for it, do not add it. I had to buy $500 of test equipment for my little 30 gallon before i could get help. Then the tests answered my questions for me. You can get cheaper test equipment but you will get what you pay for as they say on here often.
