I just wanted to let you know everything is fine with my nem of almost a year. Still has never left the rocks or moved more than a couple inch's.

    Now it happened.

This is true. I wonder how often they move in the wild?

I have read many where they get caught in korelia's. they get their tentacles in them and then get caught by the prop.

One of the BTA's had a run-in with a modded maxi-jet. I was in the room at the time and pulled the plug before it was too late, but it went back to the LFS for credit ASAP after.

I like them just fine, in a species only tank. I wouldn't put one in a reef tank with corals and/or any other fish besides anemone fish. I lost way too many corals and fish to anemones to ever do that again.

Ime nems new to a tank have to be watched like a hawk. Until they find a spot they like powerheads are the enemy. But once it gets a foothold everything is ok. Moving powerheads around can get them to travel again so avoid that. Drilled and plumbed tanks are ideal for a nem wich provides excellent circulation to bring food to the nem and wash waste away.

Yes smaller nems do eat small fish especially tank raised fish who never seen a nem before. Large nems eat large fish. And a moving nem does lots of damage. Question is why is it moving........?

Usually because it's not "happy" where it is, be it because of too much/too little light, flow, food, predators.

I love nems... have had a few.. but the fear in the tank is too much. I would love to have some in my large tank.. but think I may setup a species tank in a small ten gallon for my little boy
