So I need to study the cleaning aspect of the neon gobies I am going to get and I was wondering if anyone had a particular tank mate that would be good for them to clean. Is there any specific fish they clean more often than others or would be easily noticeable?

The tank size is a 36 gal reef.

My other option is a cleaner wrasse...

    Any ideas?

Don't get a cleaner wrasse. They never survive long term in captivity and usually die off within a few months. Ideal fish are tangs, but your tank is far too small for that. A pygmy angelfish might be able to live in there, but its really on the small side for one of those. Look into smaller angels though. I think thats your best bet.
