    I don't know which one I'm more rattled about - my alma mater playing in the BCS Championship game tomorrow night or the possibility of a southern snowstorm with power outages! We cranked up the generator earlier and bought extra fuel. The fun part will be hooking 4 tanks up to the generator!

    I don't mean to toot my own whistle here or anything but there is a reason I don't live in Tennessee... or anywhere near there. I don't even think I would know what a generator would look like if I saw one. :D

    I don't like Cam Newton at all. That is the only reason why I will not be rooting for Auburn.

    I got a generator for Xmas. 800 watt, little thing. It's for the tank of course. After Ike took my power for several days... now I'm prepared.

    Thanks, Peredhil - I hope I don't have to use it! It was my Christmas present last year - it's 3250 watts, so I can run the tanks and a few other things plus the coffee pot (got the important things covered)! I think they're great insurance - I'd really be uptight now otherwise!

    We got a lot of snow (for us anyway, lol) in the mid south last night, with more to come. Did you have to use that generator?

    Good luck out there!!! hope yyou dont have to use it! We have one also, living in florida for the hurricanes.... dont have to worry about snow :)
