What inwall said ;) I saw one of these sharks, as well some other type of shark, and 2 small rays and XL Hippo and Naso tangs in this LFS in Florida over thanksgiving. The tank was just over 500 gallons (too lazy to find out exactly) but we guessed the dimensions to be about 6'x4'x2' (LxWxH). That tank was HUGE. It has become my favorite FOWLR tank, ever. :D

    Justin,

I'll try and see if I can find any pics of the 600g shark tank. I have a LOT of funny shark stories. In particular, the time I was in it to my waist punching a wobbygong shark in the face to make it let go of a blue spotted ray. One of my employees got the nickname "Bite Boy" because he didn't ever think about where his other hand was. He once was target feeding a horn shark properly on a feeding prong with his right hand but he left all the rest of his food in his left hand dangling in the tank. Well, you can guess what happened next. Then, the next day while cleaning tanks, he had a left his left hand dangling in a tank with a demonic clown trigger while cleaning the next tank over. Before running a saltwater fish store, I never once thought that I would have to explain to someone's mom, who happened to be a doctor, why her son was all mangled and bloody.

I want to work for you, Curt :D

This LFS is Bio-Reef, Inc (I think) in Jacksonville, FL. Those guys work really hard there. The water is pristine, the livestock and corals look great, and no algae to speak of unless it's there on purpose. They had some young tangs and other fish, and the cool shark tank :D They had a maxima clam that reminded me of a small beach ball  It was huge! No mantis though :(

We went to another LFS there and we found a tank with a G. Smithii in it. This LFS was horrid, IMO. Algae everwhere. 2 dead fish in some tanks. The poor mantis didn't have a rock or any cover to hide under, and they probably didn't even know what they had ::) I would have bought the guy if only to relocate him if we didn't live 9 hours away from this store.

So Curt, tell me about your LFS. :D

    EDIT: Wow...that's alot of smileys.
