very cool I like the holder, very ingenious! Hey Luna, did you get them from a canal?

34 are you having a problem with nitrates?

Thank you very much! Nitrates? No! not yet anyways..lol but just a precaution measure, I need to admit that I have been very lucky and having kept a FOWLR in the past has helped me get the best out of this setup. And bout the ingenuity...lmao!!! It was the only thing I had at the time that would work half a** decent, I was saving a piece of styrofoam, you know the kind that flex, but I can't find it :-/

Here!!! I got an update, soon after I took the last pics, about a day or so later my firefish
that has been with me over a year decided to go carpet surfing, and it is really odd!? specially when I have egg crate over the top. Well rest in peace my friend

So me the wife & my 3yo. decided to go to the lfs this past Saturday, they didn't have a great selection, but they had a fish that I have been after for quite some time!
The picture above is one of my newest tank mates, having the boss present cost me to get a blue damsel fish, and a domino, uh!!! then I saw a hawk fish...lol so I had to have it
and a coral banded shrimp, maybe this one will survive my royal gramma!? Now I will be checking my parameters to see what is going on in that water...lol

If you look closely you can see him toward the back of the tank, in between the rocks.

I will post better pics as soon as the fish allow me too, they aren't shy, but don't sit still either for me to get a good pic.

your guess is about as good is mine, this Domino damsel grows up to 6" and on top of that is aggressive, now how you get a 3yo to understand that? and she also wanted to show this blue damsel fish.

At least this one only grows 3" moreless, and for the size tank might be ok!?!?!
