...especially after they've seen the video of a Bad Clown!

We went to pick up my candy cane coral (pics tomorrow, I promise) and my four year old fell in love with a black saddleback clown. He was too cute, "But mommy, my birfday is tomorrow and I want an Evil Nemo!"

He came home with us and is happily residing in the quarantine tank, along side my candy cane. I had to move my rainford goby and toadstool to the display tank and then get him in the q/t. He's cute, and TINY...I'll get a pic in the morning after lights on...he's sleeping on the sand (which let me tell you freaked me out more than a bit). My toadstool better hurry up and grow!

He's eaten, some brine shrimp, and he's Robert's fish...his birfday present!

    Gin (aka sucker mom)

Sounds like a larger tank is in the near-future. :)

Or should I ask: When's the 200 gallon coming?

They only get about 2 inches long and Scott (LFS guy) was so funny! "THIS IS YOUR LAST FISH! YOU HAVE A 25 GALLON TANK!"

It is the last fish for this tank, I just wanted to wait for the Toadstool to grow before I put the clown in (and I still may, he's happy in the quarantine).

I'm looking at a used 125 setup, just can't convince my DH! The 25 will stay as it is though, I love it, it's small but it's pretty and its inhabitants are happy! Besides my PC Fixture won't do well on a bigger tank. I added some rockwork tonight to make way for the candy cane and zoa polyps I also bought (don't ask, they're still on hold). I hope the corraline fills in soon, the purple reef epoxy on the white rocks is kind of distracting my view. I also had a mini live rock slide and in the rearranging I moved the GSP where I can't see it without standing up. It's firmly attached too so there's no moving it but it gets good light and will be up and over the ledge soon!

6 months from now, I will have one striking 25 Gallon tank!

No, the candy cane was on hold until August 15th, the zoas are on hold until I finish with the q/t of the candy cane and the clown. They give me a month, so the final date on the zoas is August 29th. I have a piece of rock that looks like a cow skull so Michael wants me to put some neon green zoas in the spot that looks like the eye.

I actually have the file on my hard drive now, so they can watch it several times a day! They love it...I'm raising a trio of tank addicts!

His name, in case you're interested, is Darth Nemo! My husband is raising a trio of sci-fi freaks!

These kids better be glad they're cute!

I'm a pic posting fool! I just lack the energy today! Off topic, my daughter is bi-polar and summers are hard. She craves structure that I can't give (school) and the excess sunlight burns off all the melatonin leaving her in a pretty manic state. She's 7 so a lot of the medications that help adults would be toxic to her. We supplement her with melatonin, but it's a balancing act to give her enough but not too much (good practice for a reef tank). Today was a bad day for her, and I had 6 kids in my house for 10 hours with no help. The trip to the LFS was to have some one on one time with my kids once all the extras were gone. If that clownfish gives her and my 4 year old boy (who'll be 5 in 8 minutes and is probably also bipolar) something to take care of and care about then I'd go back ten times over and buy it again. Plus he's cute as heck!

My hubby would freak if I set up a large tank but he doesn't even seem to notice the small ones I keep putting up. 3 months ago we had none and today we have 3.
