Yay! We have a bristleworm! ;D

Starting with dry rock, then only 15 pounds of pre-cured rock (to get rid of hitchhikers darnit), didn't think we had any. Boyfriend walked by the tank "What is that?" I looked, and sure enough, there it was! Our few frags are so small, but it must've come in in one of those. Hopefully there's more than one. Finally, a worm besides the spionid in the hermit's butt! LOL

Only a few species. Generally they are helpful or at least benign.

    Thanks!
I'm hoping there's more than one in there, but I started out with such a "dry" tank & have hardly put anything in it. My frags are all really small, but the last 2 are on kind of a donut shaped frag disks, so I'm guessing it came hiding in one of those. There weren't any in either of the chaeto clumps we got (believe me, I checked thoroughly hoping LOL). Unless, of course, it came in on the small amount of live rock really tiny & has just been hiding since early November!

At any rate, I'm glad I'm finally starting to have a "proper" CuC!!!

They can hide in the tiniest of places. Hopefully you have a few more ;)
