So I've decided to upgrade from my Red Sea Max 130d to a 100g tank. I'm not going to go for another all in one, instead choosing to design my own. My first questions is this: is there a difference in quality of tanks between brands? I've found to identical acrylic tanks, both same exact dimensions but different manufacturers and a price difference of about $200. One is Clear for Life, and the other is Sea Clear. Any advice? Also, anyone know a place to order a decent stand and canopy for a reasonable price?

Not sure there is any difference between brands. Both are good companies from what little I have read on them. You might be better off getting a local cabinet maker to build a stand and canopy for you. They are not hard to DIY either.

I have 3 Clear for Life acrylic tanks and will say they are great tanks, 1-100g and 2-60g tanks. I have always done DIY stands and as mentioned by 2in10 they are not hard to make depending on what you want.
