I just added a coral banded shrimp to my new 12 gallon biocube. He is going to be the only non-coral inhabitant for a long while. How/what/how often would be a good way to feed him? I want to minimize nitrates/ammonia and fouling the tank! I gave him a little mysis, but he doesnt seem to be very good at catching stuff swirling around him and most ended up in the filter.... i'm coming from a 110 so I am trying to learn some tricks on how to handle these little aquariums! (I also just started a 5.5 too!)
    Thanks in advanced!

The easiest way I've found is to target-feed with something a bit larger, like one 1/4-inch piece of raw shrimp or fish. I feed mine once every 2 weeks, but he also gets a lot of leftover fish food. I'd suggest feeding yours every 3 or 4 days.

Buy a pack of krill and head feed him 1 whole krill every about 3 days. HE will eat scarf that sucker down faster than u can ever say nitrate! Haha (and its pretty cool to watch!) Thats what i do and it works really well!
