Well i posted a few weeks ago that i was looking and was going to take the plunge after years of reading and 3 years watching on this forum... im getting off the bench! (big football fan so i use alot of said analogies)

Got it on CL...moving it Monday, here is what i got...

    >120 RR w/2 corner OF (its 60.5 x 18.5)
    >Stand and canopy - although i think im going to build my own DIY stand bc the one its on isnt pretty enough for my living room (plus i like projects)
    >RO filter....NO DI on it. better than tap!
    >Full sump in a 20 L, with baffles LR 950 gph Return pump
    >Decent skimmer, dont remember the brand
    >All plumbing with shut off valves
    >About 420-435 watts of PC lighting
    >100+ lbs of really nice FIJI LR in the DT
    >Yellow tang, damsel, Niger trigger (but im pretty sure its not a trigger - i think its a tang--it was hiding alot) two percula's and aengineer goby
    >Whole bunch of inverts crabs and snails
    >Koralia Powerhead + 4 Returns for water flow
    >A few misc corals

Bunch of other miscellaneous items including a computerized water testing system that i can view the params of my water remotely... dont really think ill use that too much but still cool.

I know that the tank is copper free because there are a ton of inverts thriving in the system

    Afew questions -

    1. How do you move the water without spilling alot of it in the car? Seems like i need buckets with screw on tops... walmart?

    2. Should i change the sand? I'm doing a minimal sandbed...

    3. Can the LR "touch air" when moving it from tank to bucket?
    What about corals?

    4. Any other tips on moving everything? BTW i have already read the tank moving article about 40 times.... haha

...I feel like i've been training for this day for years

LFS guy told me to get new live sand and that it would cost "a fortune" and to move the tank with the sand in the tank.... ?

Is there a cheaper way to buy the sand than to have it cost a fortune? I was thinking i could buy one of those "love sand" bags and then just seed the bed with that. One bag of that is like $25.... what do i use for the rest of it?

How much sand considering im just trying to cover the glass...
