I won't but I think everyone else should know what they are buying before they buy it.

I love the growth and color I get out of my bulbs. I'll be ordering my yearly replacements in about a month and they will be SPS 14k's.

I'm glad they work for you but you are running 3 400 watters where you could be getting the same growth and color out of a decent 250. Everyone wants to know how we can save money and the environment. We could all take a look at our lighting systems.

And I would bet behind the scenes of the guy that done that survey he was probably paid by the sponsor to do the test. I don't have a little Nano tank like most of you people worrying about bulbs, 250w of any bulb is not going to keep my sps on the bottom of my tank. For you that keep mushroom and xenia then they will probably do, that to me is not a challenge.

Which bulbs do you use jason?? yeah that's an extremely low ppfd for a 400 watt light. Otty I'm not trying to say that you don't need 400 watt MH, what I'm trying to say is why not look for the best bang for the buck. I know ppfd isn't everything but it's kinda like a car. PPFD is the gas. If you don't have this, it's not runnin. that's the only point I'm trying to make. Once again, we all look for ways to save money and help the environment a little. this is one of them, and by the way otty I"m growing sps on the bottom of my 150 with 175's.
