Thankyou all!! I am thinking about putting a rio nanoskimmer
Taam Rio Nano Protein Skimmer and a canister filter with all bio media. Would this work well?

Don't know much about the skimmer, but the canister should work well. Just keep the bio balls clean. You could try putting some live rock rubble in their as well.

Ok so I decided I am going to go with a HOB fuge with a skimmer built in and still keep the canister filter with some filter floss or soething. I am ordering it tomorrow. Also, I am going to order the rest of the LED parts I need for the lighting tomorrow. Can't wait til these babies come!!!

An HOB fuge will be awesome on that tank. Can't wait to see all your coral in it.

Update: I decided to not do a HOB fuge because money is tight, but i did place my order for 24 high power LEDs to set up on this tank. This will allow me to keep any coral I want easily. It maybe a little overkill but i love alot of light!!!
Also I purchased an arduino controller chip, LCD screen, time clock module, and temp sensors so I can controll my lighting.
With this controller module I can:
-Monitor the temperature of LEDs so they dont overheat
-Program controller chip to do dawn/dusk with different intensity of lighting for a different time of the day( Ex:100% white lighting and 100% blue lighting in the afternoon then 80% white 100% blue @ 2, etc...)
-Upload to turn off and on at exact times according to seasons
-Create storms, random clouds, lighting etc....
    -Lunar phases

ALOT more. The possibilities are really endless with the right programming skills. I saw a guy control his whole tank including water change, dosing, PH and salinity controls and alot more with the arduino. He could do a water change from his computer from anywhere where he gets internet!!!
    Can't wait to get this!!!
Tell me what you guys think...

Wow. Sounds very cool. The LEDs should have a huge impact on your corals. They really make the colors pop. The technoligical aspect of your tank should be awesome to see. Cant wait to see more! As for the HOB fuge, I think it would help lots and I love mine. I will never set up another tank without one. But you can always add one down the road. Looks great so far.

    New pics with:
    -Can
-6 LEDs until i get my 24 more!!!
-some overgrowin corals that i fragged

This is just some LR rubble and a few corals to seed my tank and get it to cycle quickly. MUCH more coral to come!! And much more light!!

Yes LEDs are amazing and you really cant tell how SWEET they are from the pictures. The colors look as good or even better then when they are in the wild IMO!!
I can't wait to start messing around with the arduino. It should make my lighting very futuristic and more advanced then any producer could put on the market.
