i have most of the plumbing i need just a few more odds and ends, skimmer is done, i have 300lbs of live rock, 4 icecap 660 ballast and 3 175w mh's. i need to get about 300-400lbs of live sand, 12 t-5 endcaps, 12 t-5 reflectors, and 3 reflectors for my MH's and i should be able to set it up to have it running and get more live rock over time. im dreading transfering over all the stuff from my 75gal the sand will be the hardest.

shouldnt you just forgo the sand from the other tank? seen people dissuade from using old sand because of the nitrates and such

im setting up my 350 and it has 4 holes drilled in the front have for the CL and im starting to think about using it. i have a dolphin mag 7500 return pump that pushes about 7500 gph for return from my sump and the way its set up is so that the return comes up and over in each window with 4 out puts on each. and then i have one ecotech marine mp40 that puts out 3000 gph. should i use the four holes in the front to for the CL

I think your on track but before you get to far ahead take a look at the oceans motions 8-way. Oceans Motions

and here is a link to see how others setup there CL systems. Oceans Motions :: View Forum - WaterPix

By doing this you will be able to get better flow.

Also send a PM to Tangster about how you are setting up the plumbing. He is very knowledgeable in the subject.

i have looked at them for some time now but am kinda scared of trying to set it up. if i do, which im leading in that direction what size pump should i get to push it, and the way they have it set up which i dont really like, the suction is on the very bottom and i would think it would suck up the sand. it has a strainer but i dont know
