HAHA it is long, and I haven't even posted anything to it in a long time!

It's a little bit of a mess right now due to some health problems last year and not being able to keep up with it.

    YAY we match! :)

Well the cycle is in full swing. Diatoms and feathery green algae EVERYWHERE! Yuck. I had forgotten about these days! Can't wait for the cycle to end so the tank is pretty again and I can get Cosmo a new little friend.

Even though I've been through 2 cycles, I'm still freaking out that this algae won't go away. Though I know it will :)

So lemme get this straight, a few weeks ago it was "talk me back from the edge" because of bubble algae and aptasia.
That tank spring a leak, and you did an impromptu downgrade to a 40B, which is now your current tank?
Its a nice move, and you'll have a sump in hand if you ever upgrade in size again.
    Good Luck

No - this new 40b is actually a slight upgrade from my 37 gallon, which is what sprung the leak.

My 90 gallon is still a mess and still set up! We are tackling that project next...the leaking tank set us back a bit!

Algae problems with the 90, a leaking 37, and now finally a cycling 40B. Bumpy ride. :) Congrats on getting this up and running. I like the 'scape.

    Oh, and welcome back. ;)
