New 40g Custom All-In-One

I came to 3reef a few weeks ago asking if something was possible, basically asking if the Biocube idea could be scaled up to a larger tank volume. After getting a few answers (glass thickness, placement, problems that go along with the design), I decided to go ahead with it, up sizing my failing 20g reef tank. I ended up going to a glass shop and discussing the design and choosing the appropriate glass thickness and making a few design changes to the tank. They modified the design of the overflow slightly, removing a 90 degree cut and adding a sweeping curve that enabled it to be cut in thick plate glass. The glass is 1/4" plate, non tempered with pencil finished edges. The main display area is 30 gallons, eight gallon refugium and one gallon nutrient removal algae growout area and 1 gallon evaporation/pump chamber.
