    Finally got all the bulkheads (even though they are blue) and gott the plumbing completed today. With any luck water test tonight.

    So it looks like you are going with the JohnO plumbing or is that something different?

    EDIT - Oh wait... I see a check valve in there don't I? Man, that's going to be a cool tank. Nice J! Can't wait to see it with the light on it. 8)

    Are you putting any special heads on the out put (bulk heads) into the tank?

    Ya there are flared nozzles on them. I will take a pic of the water test as long as the water stays in. If it doesn't I'll be too busy running around screaming profanity.

    well an update finally. After a week of making water I finally had enough and the time to flick the switch.

    I designed the tank to have a very slim internal over flow. I used a piece of acrylic I cut to the correct angles and siliconed it in the tank. There are 2 3/4" holes that drain to a rather large external overflow box and then 2 derso style drain pipes to the sump. I'm using a 10G tank for a sump but I need to go to 15 tall because right now if I have a power outage I will flood.
