Well I made the switch and transferred everything from my 30 gallon to my new 55. I got the 55 on craigslist with 4 retrofitted t-5's with all ATI bulbs, the stand and canopy for only 100$! I am getting a sump and skimmer within the week and am just running two HOB for now. So far so good! Let me know if you have any suggestions besides adding more LR because thats happing ASAP also.

Looks nice so far, I actually like the open look. You may want to add a few more lbs of rock, but if I were to do it again, I would have more open space. Here's a pic of my 55. I have about 80 lbs of rock in there.
