Dwarf angels SOMETIMES nip at corals, and they usually only go for the polyps on SPS's and especially clams are at risk. Saying every flame angel will 100% nip at all corals is completely wrong and unfounded. I do agree on the hippo needing a bigger tank soon, they get around a foot long and will be very unhappy in a tank with as small a footprint as that one.

Other than that it looks like you are off to a good start. I personally would add in some more live rock to fill in some of that head space.

bm, my point is more then likely he will nip at corals, i have heard they like polyps(zoas) as well, just be careful as its not a 100% reef safe fish, hate to see you buy some ex*****ve coral and then see then get eaten.

nice lookin tank bm. its really lookin good. as stated , your hippo probably isnt the best fish for your tank. which is unfortunate. he will or is too big for the swimming size. hopefully, you are lucky like i am in regards to the flame. mine hasnt done any coral grazing and hopefully yours wont either. awesome fish. thanks for the updates and keep them coming down the line.

That would make a waaay finnier sig . . . best typo I have seen in awhile ;D. I like how your point is that they sometimes will nip, when what you said was they will eat corals. A lot of people read the stuff that gets posted here and when you post info thats not correct confusion sets in.
