That is crazy deep, scape looks good but spartan due to the depth.

Yeah, it was insanely hard to get the rock to stack and stay stable without looking overly fake. It poses quite the problem when I drop something to the bottom as even on a ladder I need to go neck deep to reach in LOL.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like it. Very attractive set-up. I almost got this tank once for a seahorse and macro-algae tank.

    :)

drill into the rock and put it together with pvc use a bigger rock in the bottome for the base but your definently gonna have to drill it with pvc to get it up high.

    but it looks great

Good suggestion! I hadn't considered trying that. Thanks!

I'll take tank diving over dumpster diving any day. LOL

I was wondering if you were well over 6 ft tall or were using tongs to place the rock. But I doubt the tongs would work with most live rock pieces. just don't seem sturdy enough.

I am right around the 6 foot mark. I basically just reach in, and stack. ;)

I think tomorrow I am gonna rebuild the rock with PVC and Zip ties. I got about 80 lbs of dry rock sitting around that I'll add in if I can get that trick to work.

Loving the tall tank, I must admit the pain to maintain it has always put me off getting a tall tank. Even at 6 foot its a bit of a pain in a 2 foot deep tank.
