Its actually been up now for about 4 months, and hasn't really been too hard to maintain. I mean, tougher than some for sure, but nothing I can't really handle.

And today I just finished making some towers and stuff as per Iwanaclown's suggestion with some extra rock. So they are just cooking in a bin in my garage, since they were covered in hair algae from my LFS, and I have 0 desire to ruin my DT with that nightmare. LOL. I'll post some pics of them soon.

1st one is a lot nicer, and about 20 inches tall.

Second is not as nice, but just there to help add some height, and about 16 inches tall. It should be sitting straight, but I didn't adjust the base pieces quite right, so it will be getting leveled in the sandbed :-/

Both of those towers looks pretty cool. The flat piece on the 1st will be great for corals & the tilt on the second actually adds to the "all nat-u-ralle" look. :) Leave it. This is going to be a very cool tank.

:cheesy: Thanks! I appreciate the kind words.

On a side note, would it be okay to soak the rocks in a 50% water 50% bleach mixture for about 2 days to kill off all the unwanted junk in the rocks? (I.e. Hair algae, bubble algae, bristle worms galore, and various other stuff I really don't want to introduce to my DT) Then soak the rock in RO for a week or so and dry, before putting in my DT. I figured the existing 100 lbs of LR would just seed the new stuff and my tank already has all the hitch hikers I could want.

    Any thoughts?

2x 250 watt metal halides and 4x 18 watt actinic supplemental PCs.

And yeah a little over 100 lbs in there already. Both towers combined weight was only 55 lbs, so I'm not too worried about adding more. I had always planned on using all the old rock + the new rock. It would look terrible with just those two towers IMO. I just wanted the towers to add height, they won't be stand alone. It will all be incorporated together nicely, with caves, bridges, and hopefully a lot more new found height.

So I finally bleached the rocks out, soaked in RO/Prime and the lot. Then re-scaped. I am fairly happy with how things turned out. All the coral is still awfully angry so it is hard for me to tell if I liked all the placements. I am sure the clams will be happy with the extra light they will be receiving from the new found height.

    Anyways on with the pics!

The rocks now sit about 4 inches from the top of the water level. So let me know what you think! I appreciated it.
