New 72 gallon bowfront with 20 gallon refugium

How did you get the sump into the stand? I'm getting the same setup but wanted to know how you made it fit. could you tell me the dimensions of your sump?

 

Good question, The top of my stand is open and i had to place the sump before the tank. The 20 Long fits great but i could not fit it through the front.

Dementions are 12.5H X 12.5W X 30.25L

 

Anemone Spliting

Awsome, today i looked in on my tank before i left for work and my bubbletip anemone is spliting into 2.

 

Anemone has officially split.

I don't know if you have read or may know why your Anemone split. It's not always a good thing for anemones to split. That's what I've heard on here. Take a look at anemone splitting through the search function.

I agree with you. I have another thread going for high nitrates. today to reduce the nitrated and to get them under controll i did i 50% water change and i think this is what sent the Anemone to split. all my other tank paramaters are spot on.

Still stoked i have 2 now.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I've had a 40 breeder setup for approx. 6 weeks and building a 92 corner this weekend. Probably grabbing a 20 gallon for a refugium and may use your design for it.

I got paid today and visited my local LFS and picked up some new additions to my reef.

Galaxia Coral
Plate coral (neon yellow and green i think)
Large zoa purple

New fish
Green target mandrin
2nd black clown
