    well i got a good deal on this tank $300 for everything you see...cleaned it up and made some mods...like
    a new retro kit tek t-5 x2 x 54 watt (4 bulbs total)..threw out t12 lights
    some fans 2 icecap fans..on order..grr..:(
    hinge on canopy

    so now i am waiting for cycle to stop...
    add a cleaning crew...
    a couple of damsels...
    then transfer stuff from my 37 gallon bowfront to this one sloooooowly...

    very nice setup!! I like the wire rack mounted to inside of stand's door for your chemicals and what not.. I may do that to my setup as well.. good idea! very clean! give us some more pics once its stocked up!

    so i went home from work tonight...and did some water chemistry....so about 3 or 4 days ago here was my results...

    ph 8.4
    ammonia around .50
    nitrITE 1.0
    nitrates about 30

    tonight:

    ph same 8.4
    ammonia ZERO!
    nitrITE ZERO!
    nitrates between 5-10

    the tank has been up and running for a few weeks...and i used seachem stability in it for 7 days straight as directed per bottle...then use monthly...i also stuck a frozen shrimp in there for a day or two to start cycle...stinky!!
    Also when i came home noticed i had brown stuff (diatom) on sand and alot of the rock..another good sign..i think...

    so i think in the next few days going to buy a couple of damsels OR couple chromis...

    Any suggestions on the damsels or chromis???

    I have to move the following from 37 gal bowfront...
    live rock
    1 bubble tip anenome
    1 blue yellow tailed damsel
    2- false percula clown fish
    2- cleaner shrimp
    2- emerald crabs
    my cleanup crew


    future fish:
    yellow tang
    blue hippo tang

    any other fish suggestions for the future
