During Testing of my new build i noticed my return pump is pretty darn powerful I mean powerful....LOL

I purchased a Rio Hyper-flow 26HF which is rated @ 1590gph which i was told by my LFS was the correct one for my tank. In addition i am planning on adding 2 Koralia 750 which i purchased early on. My question is will this be overkill? Is it possible to have to much circulation?

    Again thanks in advance.

My gravity main drainage experiment was well.... Noisy ! Therefore I had to improvise and create a overflow box for my system which will allow me to raise the DT H2o level eliminating the noise factor and simultaneously avoid a overflow problem in the sump during a power outage given i live in a condo it is mandatory ;).

Here are some pics of what i have done thus far let me know what you all think i may need ...

    Cycling as we speak.....

A neighbor brought me a couple of small stone crabs and a FL conch from one of his dives which i have in the tank currently which seem to have started the cycle or so it appears. I had cured the rocks months in advance in a separate tank to minimize the time frame for cycling. I don't plan to integrate my 39 gallon tank live stock however until the 90 gallon is completely cycled which could be another three weeks or so.

I will add pics later photo bucket is under maintenance....

We have the exact same tank and stand. Congratz on the upgrade! and have fun with all that new amount of space.

I just wanted to take a moment and personally say thank to all my freinds and members here who have contributed and patiently advise me during my preparation for the upgrade from my 39ga to 90 ga.

The advise on the curing of Base and Live rock before the move was "spot on "defiantly cuts down on the cycling time no doubt. My prams have been on the $$$ and consistently stable so we took the plunge and dove head-on into the move of morphing the smaller tank into the larger one with no livestock loss ZERO...... Zip.... Here are some pics and a vid thus far...
