It looks like all you have for water movement is the return line. I would add one or two power heads. Maybe a couple of Koralia 3 or 4's at opposite ends of the tank angled towards the front glass.

I wouldnt clean the back glass let it get covered in coraline aglae.

Okay this tank is going to need some work. First off you are going to need way more live rock. You should have IMO in excess of 100 lbs for a 90 and that doesn't even look close. Is there a sump? Skimmer? The naso is going to be if it isn't already too big for a 90 gallon tank. The sailfin tang and yellow will likely fight once they mature so I'd get rid of the sailfin. What kind of light is it and how old are the bulbs? I would get all new food. Get mysis shrimp, krill, enriched brine shrimp, formula 2 is good stuff, etc. Do some research on food. The tangs need lots of veggies in their diets so a veggie clip with dried seaweed or kelp is a good idea.

With some care you could have a really nice tank there.

Not sure how many pounds of live rock , there are some big pieces , the fish have been together for 4 years with the previous owner and this was his set up and he did not lose anything or have any problems , Ill add two Koralia 4's for water flow the lighting is t5 and two metal halide screw socket bulbs. I have a veggie clip who is the best place to purchase food from?

I can tell you that is no where near 100 pounds of live rock. It looks like very little rock to me. Live rock is very important and makes up for most of the tanks biological filtration. With that little live rock you will have to do a lot more water changes.

I would keep at least two veggie clips in there at all times. In my experience one clip is not enough for that many veggie eaters. I have found it keeps aggression down if the fish don't have to fight over one clip.

Also the naso and the sailfin tangs will out grow your tank. Both of them get to be over 1 foot long FYI.

I understand the previous owner had the fish together for 4 years without a problem but they are and will continue to get larger and have a larger impact on the bioload of the tank.

What kind of filtration do you have? Are you topping off your tank with RO/DI fresh water?

Good luck with your tank! Hope everything goes well. You came to the right place, we will try to help you out as much as possible.

go get urself some cycled base rock like 100lbs, make urself an aquascape, use the already there lr and seed the base. Lol 4 tangs for a 90g I think 90g is barley enough for 1 tang. Like others have said at least 2 powerheads. You can go with a k4 slap it in the middle and use 2 k2's on opposite ends and you should be good. Lighting is ur choice. Decide if you want to go with a fowlr or a reef tank. If you do then decide how much you want to spend on electricity and go from there. No kidding my 65 with everythign runnign is costing me an extra 50 bucks a month in the summer (uggg come back winter)

I feed my tang as much as my filtration can handle. Usually twice daily and I always keep nori banded to a feeding pole for grazing. I also agree the naso and sailfin should be relocated or traded for something more suited for a 4' tank. I would estimate there to be only around 40 - 50 pounds of live rock in there depending on the density. try to get more of that asap. leave the back glass alone as it will continue to grow great looking corraline algae all over your tank.

I have a sailfin in mine and I always have veggies in there for him at all times. Yes i know 65 is small for him but hes a baby and upgrading to a 125 in the next 6 months so dont flame me.

Ocean go get urself some nori and in actuallity thats all you need, just make sure you feed it veggies all the time and meat occassionally. If you only feed meat to them they will starve
