    I got my tank! I got a 75g 48.37" W X 18.37" D X 24.25" H I plan on getting the lighting next while I still have some money any ideas on what one ? like I said before I plan on having fish and a bit of coral. I would like to know of a good fixture for the lights as well what will fit my tank and what not. Thanks again!

    Other than what is being suggested above, my advise is to find your local reef club. That resource is invaluable, they can help you locate great deals, help you steer clear of certain LFS, recommend the better ones etc....The local clubs are great for getting frags from, swaps and other events are great ways to network locally.

    i agree u need to keep checking craigslist...and also find some kind of a fish store around.. have a little patience and something will come up i promise.. everyday people are getting rid of fish tanks..

    for lights try fish needit there cheap i had mine for around 4 months so far and it's doing great i got the 4 bulb t-5s for my 55 gallon (48" long) all you really need to do is change out the bulbs to better ones

    I just started to buy equipment and dropped 570$ today and still need alot more!!! Looks like im going to stretch my budget a little more.
