Thanks, the two islands really help with flow, I have the tank set up where I don't have any dead spots. You can even see the flow under the rocks;)

Thanks GTS, your build is nothing short of incredible, I can't wait for the livestock to start filling that beast.

Thanks Steve, I have been mostly adding some special chalices of late, although I did add this efflo a couple of weeks ago.

    Thanks Luna..

So I picked this camera up from a local reefer, and have really noticed a change in the quality of my pictures...I had to show some of my favorite wrasse, a Hawaiian Flame Male, who likes to flare up on every fish in the tank..

My newest favorite..Tyree Pink Watermelon and a small scoly I dropped down from my frag rack.

Thanks reefsparky and cement skis....I used to get one eyed frags that would get messed up in shipping...and they were really small, like 3/8" even less, so I pay more now and get a healthy colony, and don't have problems with weak single eyed frags....nothing less than 4 eyes now...it takes longer to find them, but it's worth it.

    Sure Dennis..

    Front
    Blue+
    Aquablue Special
    Super Actinic
    AquaScience 22K
    Blue+
    Fiji Purple
    Aquascience 15K
    Aquascience 22K
    Aquablue Special
    Blue +

The Aquascience 15K are identical to the Aquablue Specials
The Aquascience 22K is a little bluer than the Blue+, but not by much
I have had many different combos, and the one above is the one I've had the longest. I have tried Aquasuns, Procolors, which I found to be too red, as well as a GE 6500K, which was nice with a lot of blue+ bulbs. BTW, you will notice I have a lot of blue bulbs in the front 5, which is on purpose, it wass to get rid of the "white out" look you are talking about. You may just need to rearrange your bulbs...

Thanks for the props...Jkat, I haven't had issues with the natural sunlight at all, as long as your PO4's and NO3's are low, you shouldn't experience algae blooms. My tank is 4 months old and I scrape the glass once a week...

Good clarification. Sunlight doesn't cause algae blooms, it can exacerbate blooms, but algae must have nutrients. If your water chemistry is on target, and your water is nutrient free, you shouldn't have algae problems--even if your tank gets some direct sunlight. I should say though, that an out of direct sunlight tank location is preferable for other reasons.
