And today, notice the flesh has grown back to form a circle, but the skeleton has some catching up to do, the mouth was formed months ago.

This weekend I bought more coral, got these two tabling acros from Atlantis, Jolleen was very generous with these cuts, but made up for it with a tight little nub on the third coral.

Stunning tank! Does the natural sunlight you get in the morning play a significant role in the health of your corals? They are beautiful.

Thanks! I'd say that the natural sunlight helps some corals and hurts others. The back right side of the tank receives the most NSL, and that is where I have a RBTA, some chalices and such. I never thought about it, but the NSL might have been the reason those chalices were bleaching out on me. That NSL is high intensity, and the LPS in question don't do well in intense/high light. The RBTA thrives in it's spot, and won't ever budge, even when I try to pry it off, it is a permanent fixture of the tank. It loves the NSL, and expands the most first thing in the morning. SPS in that region of the tank, seem to be thriving, needing constant trimming...
