FWIW, I noticed little growth for three months, starting in Late October. In that time frame, I was battling low Ph. A few weeks ago, I decided to go with a dosing pump and three part. Now my Ph stays between 8.15-8.3, and I was actually seeing the results of the higher ph daily. I don't think my coral was growing during the past three months, because my Ph was so low. Never over 8.1, and you need to have 8.2 for coral to calcify, 8.3 is better.
I have used both T5's and MH, and IMO, there are so many variables that can really effect growth, that unless you have similar sized tanks, running off the same sump, you can't really know for sure. I've seen greater growth with T5's, but I know that I've become much better at this, since I switched.

    Pic update....
My harassed PL, my EA loves to pick on this one..
Next to the Sunset and Setosa when large, the Pink Sandollar has to be one of the fastest growing montis...it loves to get fragged
    Green and red Aussie mille
    [IMG]
See the third branch this GARF Purple Bonsai is starting? Well it needed to base out 3" before that nub started....look how I lost 2" of base when I removed it from the rock
Even though it's small this Ultimate Rainbow Acro is one of my favorites, when I removed it, it had based out 3" but this is all I could cut off
    [IMG]
    Ultimates Purple Monster....very slow growth
    [IMG]
Painfully slow growing, the Aquascene Ice Fire Enchinata, bases out before branching....I actually had a spurt of growth a few months ago, but when I removed it, I could get only some of the base and broke the branches...I scraped it all and glued it to this rock, because It took so long to grow it that much.

Actually this Tyree Blue Stag is a good grower for me, I really like the green coralites and green polyps, its unique, however my EA loves this coral the most, so the polyps are normally sucked in except for the ones near the base.

Recovering from cutting 20 nubs for Green Marine...
Recovering from getting burned by the Pink Yuma, the Aussie Enchinata definitely is a new favorite of my foxface... The Lime in the sky seems to like low light in my tank.
    Turquoise Staghorn
    [IMG]
Ultimate Watermelon Acro that left most of it's base on the Lr that got an acid bath...Yellow Coris Wrasse and Algae Blenny

Emperor Angel, so worth the loss of PE

Wow, a very full tank, but it is visually pleasing for sure. Are you planning to do anything for that single perc? He's probably going to have a hard time with a pair of clowns already in there.

Thanks, that single Perc has been hanging tough for over a year and a half. He has actually gotten the female B/W interested, and she kind of goes back and forth..what a ho huh?;)
