Robert said it might lose color, but I am hoping it will only be temporary...its gorgeous with lime green/pink and super long polyps
Now with the emperor gone...I have added some of my LPS to this tank

Been a long time since I updated...I neglected my tank for a couple months. Didn't swap out my GFO like I should have...and saw my sand get cyano, which I never had in any of the 6 reef tanks I started up. Anyway...here are the ugly pics and my fix.
The problem with my tank is that in some areas the sand has almost cemented together, so its not really sand, its more like a slab of rock...this makes it hard to keep clean, and it cant be sifted or vacuumed anymore...Part of my problem is I dumped all my corals from my Aquasystems tank into this one...and with the coral pile up, the flow doesnt get around and keep thinks clean....

Look at all the purple bubbling goodness!

Here are some browned out, or damaged corals.
This undata didnt really brown out, it was a weird light purple color, but its coming back, you can see the green coming back to the center, most of the purple rim disappeared, but this is returning as well.

My solution was to remove the sandbed. I am also going in a different direction. I am going to keep maybe 4-5 HI Flame Wrasses, and one Super male. No more tang, foxface, blue jaw trigger, etc...Here's the bB

I needed one last piece of the puzzle on my right rock structure. I found a couple pieces in my sump that I epoxied together to make a slight arch. I laid it in front of the right rock creating a little shaded area for more LPS.
