I picked this little bright red scooter blenny up the other day. He had great weight on him and has been going crazy picking at the rockwork and sand bottom.

Thanks, yeah I was a little uneasy attempting a scooter blenny because I know they need a very established tank. Well mines been up for 3 years so that should be established enough I hope.

Correct, they are in the same family as mandarins and usually only eat pods like mandarins.

Nice add! I have two of these and they love brine and mysis. I read scooters are easier to get onto prepared foods - so give it a try!

    Very pretty! congrats! :)

Congrats! Like KC said it is easier to gets scooters on prepared food. I have had mine for over a year with no issues. He was on frozen brine within two months. The one you picked up looks very healthy. Let us know how it goes!
