new add! diamond goby video

So I was in desperate need of some more sand siftage in the tank, and added this guy today. Within 10 minutes he was sifting sand and then began setting up his crib. (hence the music)

He has already eaten flake food and frozen mysis/brine! I think this guy is happy and I have never seen one settle in so quickly. No hiding whatsoever. I guess it helped that my clowns and chromis didnt mess with him at all. Like he wasnt even there. We named it Dugan, and my gf just uploaded this.

 

i love my diamond goby. for some reason it cracks me up when he evicts a hermit or snail that crawls in to his lair. unfortunately, mine does not like me coming around with the camera. however this is because the other fish follow me and he doesn't like the others around.

 

aha I cant wait to get one of these, they are awesome lol I love the way they look, makes me laugh, or maybe im just crazy

 

I used to have one that would pick up rocks bigger than his head & struggle with them to build a wall LOL.

My 6-spot acts just like a DWG, so I find I don't miss having one at all now!

 

Mine has expanded to three different burrows and just does his own thing. Not even the tube for cleaning the sand bothers him. And he doesn't jump like my sleeper gobies did.

 

My tank is a silt storm right now. Filter socks to the rescue!
