    Just got this SPS frag, I'm guessing some kind of birdnest. Is it a specific type? The body is bright green and the poylps are brownish oragne-ish with a hint of purple.

    Birds of Paradise. Fast growth but need a ton of flow because the branches interweave and nutrients get trapped in them forming a nutrient sink.

    + 1 I have a koralia 1050 pointing directly at one side of mine and a 600gph from the other side and it looks like this ;)

    Ok one question though, my poylps are so brown, is there anyway that they could change to that blueish color? thanks. did you intentially graph them?

    It seems to do really well at any placement in my tank. They look more bluish purple i think. I have them under 6 T5HO bulbs. 2 ATI blue plus, an ati purple plus, an ati aquablue special, an actinic, and a 14k. Its a very hardy coral I'm sure it will color up. What kind of lights do you have?

    And nope the grafting was totally unintentional lol. Don't mind my boyfriends first epoxy job ha
