So I have been going to the lfs and they have had this blenny for about a month in one of their big display tanks. This Guy grew on me everytime I saw him and had the coolest personality I finally gave in today and got him!!

He looks really cool. I have a scooter blenny myself and love him. He does love his pods though.

You can buy them, but the best way is to have a sump or fuge that they can grow in without your fish eating them all up before they can start to reproduce. You can also seed your sand bed with somebody else's sand that has an established pod community or buy LR from an established system. I got my scooter blenny from an already established system that had been running for 3 years and moved all of that LR into my DT since I don't have a sump or fuge. Hopefully this works out for me.

now it's working! He'll eat pods off the rock and sand, it looks like a tribal blenny. but it has a white/clear tail.

Beauty, it will most likely adjust to whatever you feed. A variety of foods is good anyway.

If they had him on pellets then I would make sure I had some lol. I know mine doesn't seem to eat any prepared foods at all. That is probably just the difference in blenny's though. ;D
