New Addition To The Family!

Recently I just added a Blue Crown Conure to my family. When I was looking at birds at first, I was trying to debate between a Mitred and Blue Crown. Well the Mitred got sold. After I was deciding and before I emailed the breeder of the bird. So I ended up getting Ziggy, my Blue Crown.

Friday, I got an email from the other breeder with the Mitred. She said that the lady who had purchased the bird was having issues with her dog and such. I was told the bird was healthy and such. Talked to the current owner, and went and picked him up Friday. Come to find out one of her dogs had ripped a few tail feathers out of the poor bird! Well regardless he's here now and such a cutie!

Thanks to the help of kcbrad, We named him Mario! I know they aren't great pics but heres a few!

I dont think 3 birds, a fish tank, 3 cats and 1 dog would get me on the show. LOL I know plenty of people that have more then that...

I know you were Mike. I was just throwing it back. Plus 2 of the cats are my parents so LOL.

They dont, His new cage should be shipped Monday! So hopefully not long. He is chilling in a large carrier for now But is spending pretty much all time besides sleeping and breaks outside of it on the play areas.

He speaks a little. Not much though. Ziggy is far more superior in his speech.
