    I'm fairly naive on live rock live sand relationship...but the rule of thumb for live sand is about a 2 inch sand bed, and LR for a FOWLR is around 1 pound of rock per gallon. That's probably not a good answer at all, sorry. But that's all I got :)

    Ermano;

    This deserves a 3 part answer

    1) Money...

    2) Lighting needs upgrading

    3) I have alot to learn and figured I would learn on my 30 before I go to crazy.

    scenario I appreciate the input. I actually went and bought 50 pounds of that tonight and another 30 of white ocean sand. Cleaned out the store or I would have bought another 30 of the aragonite and and 20 of the white ocean sand if they had it.

    I was not sure if anyone was going to respond so I wanted to get the ball rolling. Next on the list LR..oh the pain in my wallet but a smile on my face.;D

    Added about 75 lbs LR yesterday and 25 of base. Wife helped me aquascape today.. Actually let me rephrase that.. I started to aquascape and she came over and said that it looked like crap:angry:..So she directed me where to put the stuff as any good wife would do!! :whip:

    So here is round 2 of the aquascape.. I am happy with the caves and space the fish will have to move around but a little more LR might be needed. Pictures are not that great but I am not a pro.
