Well one of my favorite places for fish... live aquaria has been having weekly sales on all the fish i want... . last friday i couldnt stand it and bought the mystery wrasse that was on sale this week. its been in the tank one day and is already coming out and hangin with the clowns. and comes to the front to see if i have food. oh i feed them 4 times today. little bits but still. i want the fish to settle in and be happy. i will do a small water change tomorrow.

a 35 gallon zero edge. with a 25 gallon sump refug. sump probably holds 10 gallons. its been a custom order and i cant wait. im also sure that fish will glow under metal halide lighting. this fish is already so friendly. it comes right to the front of the tank. it seems to have settled right in. i was worried since when it arrived it was playing dead. laying on its side. than when i acclimated it was sitting normal...when i finally had salt readings matching ... i put it in the tank and it curled its one side like it died. i watched it seen it swim to the bottom behind the rocks.... i had the lights out left it alone and turned the lights on by hand the next morning and its been fine. its seems to be hunting the rocks for food. plenty of bristle worms for it!
i plan on having a few clams. so a wrasse that eats certain things was needed.... this fish will do what a 6 line will for clean up.

thanks i always get so excited when a fish just takes to the tank. normally when i have picked fish from the fish store i pick the ones that swim to the front of the tank. not the hiders. i feel they are a fish that dont stress to easily. and i tend to have my hands in the tank more than i should.

Good way to pick fish....and me too with the hands in the tank thing...always seems there's some reason you have to....though I've been good for the last month or so.

    BTW nice Wrasse.

well this new addition seems to have taken care of the bristle worm over population. i felt they were all over now i cant seem to find one.
