I bought a Bispirus sp fan worm today

Here are a couple pictures, it appears that it will take a while for it to acclimate to the flow in the tank.

what colour are the feathers John?

hard to make it out on the image, but it does seem to have a pink tint to it

the good news with these creatures is that are capable of changing their orientation to some degree, when they fix their casing, they can twist it and then set it. so you may find it facing a different direction sooner or later, so that it finds a position in respect of flow that it is comfortable with

    Thank you

It actually looked purple at the shop. The spines definitely looked purple especially towards the base. It does look as though the the fine parts may be more pink. Hopefully it will reorient enough to find out. Thanks for reminding that they will reorient themselves.
