Sort of a rare eel my LFS owner managed to get in for me. I just mentioned it on a whim and never though he could, or WOULD get such a higher end fish in the store. Anyway, been cycling and my cycle is over. Tested myself and at the LFS just to make sure.

Hint, its not a Golden Dwarf Moray, though it looks almost Identical

Why is the water so cloudy? Ammonia? Maybe you should run some carbon?? :p jk

I would have guessed GDM too. Have any better shots? What is it eating so far?

At the LFS it was scavenging mysis off the sand bed. I just added some rinsed dry sand thats why its a bit cloudy. Its a young Banana Moray, also known as a Golden Tailed, Brazilian Golden, Canary, and Yellow Moray. Its a somewhat rare morph of Gymnothorax miliaris my wife and I saw diving in Bonaire.

The one we saw was vivid yellow with black spots here and there. This on has a yellow head, and a creamy yellowish body with a few very fine spots. I think he will yellow more as he matures. About 8" right now and they usually get to about 20" in the wild.
My plans of feeding will be frozen krill I thaw and soak in selcon for hand training. Eventually he will go in my 125g pseudo-carib tank.
