Never did I say don't feed it ;) in fact I mentioned feeding will definitely result in increased growth. I merely mention they don't need to be fed, the same way that SPS, LPS and softies don't need to be fed but still are for increased growth and coloration. I'm sure mine got plenty of indirect feeding from all the other corals in the tank. As for me the polyps look light tan. White and light tan can mean two completely different things as far as polyps go. It helps to know about morphology in gorgonias to understand the care requirements.

With the OP's coral and the other two mentioned in this thread, simply putting them in high random flow, assuming you feed your fish and other corals, will provide all the food they need.

Did you click on the link I gave you??Its Muriceopsis flavida. All Gorgonians feed on microfoods and they will benefit from it.They will catch whatever food is in the water column.
It sure looks like white polyps to me.:)

Be sure to keep this pic and compare the growth of the GSP in a few months. I think I saw the same pic of the GSP on the back glass somewhere that you reference Ballgame. It looked really cool if you can keep it just on the back glass. I'm going to look back over my pics to see if I can get a good before and after pic of my GSP. I always wanted to entertain the idea of having GSP covering my corner overflows.

I think it would look cool to cover the overflow. I probably wouldn't have gotten GSP if wasn't putting on back glass. I glued it on 2 days ago. I put it too high on glass. Looks cool but when it opens it goes up because light is up there. Mike at ASR says it will grow out each way but it wil need trimming. That should he easy with a razor since on glass. I'll post a pic of it glued shortly.

iPhones don't take good pictures of water.
But frag glued on back glass. Would have preferred to have a little lower. When it opens everything goes up to the light. Worst case I frag it and glue another piece lower.
Also got a green tip hammer

should look cool and I agree, you should be able to trim it pretty easily with a razor blade if the need arises. I really like the look of gsp as well.
