New Additions!(Pic of Jawfish)

I picked up a couple of new additions yesterday. I'll get pics as soon as possible. The two new additions are....(DRUM ROLL PLEASE)

1 beautiful Tiger Jawfish
1 Amazing ORA tri-color valida

I will post pictures as soon as I get home. The valida is one that my LFS got about a year ago and has grown the entire time and has completely engulfed the big black plug that comes with ORA corals. You can only see a very small portion of the plug if you look underneath. The colony is about about 3 inches by 4 inches. I only paid 35 dollars for it. It's color isn't the greatest because it spent so much time at the LFS but it will color up just fine in my tank.

I thought it was too. I have a couple of folks who would like a frag of it so I will be able to recoup my money.

 

Congrats on the adds. I just looked up tiger jawfish - I hadn't heard of one before, looks very cool! I love jawfish - they are so interesting to watch - they have that unique personality and look to them. Your tank just keeps getting better and better Daniel! do try and post of the pic of the jawfish in your tank, I'd really like to see where it ends up finding its home.

 

His home is directly in front of the tank. I spent the evening watching little with "puffs" of sand coming out from under one of my rocks. It was quite comical. If he stays there, he's positioned himself perfectly. I tried to look at him yesterday evening but the only way I could see him is with a flashlight in his hole. He is so funny because he looks so grouchy. I did see him grab a nasarius snail last night and spit him out of his hole.

He's a cool fish. He did come out earlier and scarf some flake food.
