today, i spent fishing right here in the fishing capital of the world: fllorida. anyway, all we caught was a stingray abou 2.5 feet wide. But, i Collected a few things for my tank. The first is a 2.5" mangrove snapper. Then, i got 2 unknown gobies thet are about 3" long each (they have the suction cups). also i got 2 striped hermits w/ shells about an inch wide.

i used little tiny peices of shimp meat, and also for tiny hooks, go to the ffly fishing section of your local outdoors store like bass pro, Gander mtn., or cabelas; and look for hooks that are size 14. I know 14 seems large for these fish but any smaller and you couldn't even fit the line through the eye of the hook. when you go, fish in the rocks, thats where the juvenilles hide.

oh, to get the gobies, know that they dont go and attack your bait, you have to look on the top of the rocks for them and dangle it in front of them

gobies i have no idea but i dont think they'll much bigger, the world record for the snapper is 17 pounds(yea i know). I have pesonally caught them at sizes of about 12", that is the most common size

watch this video, the guy spears a 13 pound mangrove snapper in it
