    i have a 2 clowns i bought them paired.... if they host in an anemone will they lay their eggs in it.. and if so then what do u do?

    If they breed , spawn, they will lay and fertilise eggs on a hard surface which is in contact with the nem or any other coral/ object they are hosting
    if this happens in the main tank , then your chances of ever seeing the fry/ baby fish are remote as clowns are protective but in the confines of a tank the eggs and developing embryos often fall to predators

    if they where seperated, no other fish or inverts that could eat the eggs/ fry , then you need to check out the tropical fish breeding section for many threads related to raising baby clown fish

    those that breed these or other fish often seperate eggs even from parents in order to have optimum chances of preserving the baby fish
