    Hey guys,
    I picked a couple things up today. I got an acro that idk the name of and a piece of encrusting sps on a candy cane colony. Anyone have an ID?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    The only one I can take a stab at is image #3, looks like Montipora undata. The encrusting may also be what is left of an encrusting acropora or another sps. The first image or sps, once it starts showing some PE or color change maybe easier to ID.

    Ok, I'll post some update pics later on then. The 3rd. image is supposed to be a orange monti cap, it is really small though.

    Hi, nice corals there! I can id a few of those for ya. Pic 1&2 we call a bali tri color acro have had my colony for years. 3 is montipora setosa or cap. I would guess setosa just from looking at the pic. Last pic with those glowin candies is an encrusting porites. These often come in on rocks with other corals. Hope this helps.

    I really wanted to know what the encrusting one was so I could research it a bit. Now I can.

    The candy canes really do glow.
