Picked these up earlier tonight. How long should I expect before the polyps on the SPS come out?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Congradulations on the new additions.

For me sps usually take a couple days to show some real polyp extension, but they usually open up a little within 24 hrs or less.

    I love blastos.

Ok, I am just impatient and used to zoas and LPS that show extension almost immediately.

    Thanks!

Yea I love sps personally, but they can be picky about openning. And their lack of movement compared to some soft corals and lps like frogspawn is not for everyone.

Do you know the names ?

Under the right lighting they will color up.

I was only given pink acro and purple acro, however the one labeled as purple had some green in the skeleton. The blasto I was told is an aussie blasto.

Nice adds, polyp extension depends on the species and the coral. I have had some take a month or so before they showed any extension and then another month or so until they really extended. As long as you see encrusting at the base or even growth they will come around.
