Got some new additions to the tank yesterday.

We were looking for something to clean/turn over the sand yesterday so we asked for a cucumber, and my boyfriend walked over to me in the fish food section & said "I think it might be too big, go look." So I go over and there's this black cucumber bagged up in the guy's hand that's as thick as my wrist & 3 feet long!!!! I was like, "Ummmmm No!" LOL

So, I get up to the checkout and there are 2 tiger sand conchs and a tiger tail cucumber (still too big IMO, but under 6 inches heheheh).

This pic absolutely cracks me up!

We put the cucumber in the fuge, I didn't want the hermits or shrimp messing with it. It seems to be enjoying itself!

Those pics were from last night immediately after releasing it. This morning I got up, looked in, and sand pellets came shooting out a hole in the rock (he's on the left of the rock, obviously with his but at the hole in the middle of the rock). I about fell over laughing...didn't know it would FLY out! The pile is way bigger now.

Thanks, 2in10. I'm a little worried the snails are too big. One would've been sufficient, IMO. Fortunately, gearing up for the 140 tank is coming along. Steel stand is being built & we now have lighting. We'll have a custom sump built by September or October and a new 5-stage 150 gpd RO/DI in a few weeks. At least we'll have somewhere to put bigger stuff!

I'm also nervous about the cuke. When I first put it in, Spot (orange-spotted goby), who has been very shy & hiding in the back for a month now, came out front (I was taking pics at the time) and swam around all agitated. I put in a Purigen pad in place of my carbon real quick. There's nothing in the fuge to bug it, but I figure it must've been a bit irritated in the bag.

One of the Strombus snails reeling himself back up his mucus strand to the powerhead that he lowered himself from.

And in my Bizarro world tank, the cleaner eats snails and the peppermints clean LMAO.

This particular peppermint first did this to me last week when I was reseating a coral. It did it again this morning for about 5 minutes as I reseated another coral, and again just a bit ago (yes, reseating yet another coral). This time someone was home that could work the camera :D.
